Journey to Mia
This blog is to help us keep friends and family updated on our trip to adopt Mia in China

We climbed the Badaling Great Wall to the tower at the top right of the picture.  It was much further and steeper than it looked before we started -- especially with a wind chill around zero and numerous vendors that knew how to say "dollars" but didn't understand the word "no."

Quiet? I think our next camping trip should be to China! It looks beautiful. Wish we could all be there to welcome Mia. Can you imagine the reation at the orphanage if our Sunday lunch group showed up? See you soon, Jeanie
P.S. Love the hat, Claire!

Love the hat Claire- what a hoot! Ya'll look so very cold. I agree with Jeannie- what fun to have all of us show up at the orphanage, LOL. We ate at Kobe tonite for Allie's birthday, but somehow it made us feel a bit closer to you. Yeah, I know it is Japanese and not Chinese- but I was working it. Thinking of you often- praying for a safe journey!
